Country Radio Broadcasters has tapped Elaina Smith to return as host of the New Faces of Country Music Show at CRS 2026, set for March 18-20 at the Omni Nashville Hotel.
A familiar voice to country programmers and listeners alike, Smith is host of “Backstage Country,” the nationally syndicated radio program produced by Beasley Media Group and distributed by Key Networks. She previously helmed Westwood One’s “Nights with Elaina.” She also produces the “Breaking Thru with Elaina” podcast spotlighting emerging artists and industry figures. A multi-year host of the New Faces show, Smith returns to lead one of CRS’s signature events, widely viewed as a launching pad for the format’s next wave of stars.
Co-partnered by the Academy of Country Music and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the 2026 New Faces of Country Music Show will feature Kelsey Hart, Ella Langley, Chase Matthew, John Morgan, Meghan Patrick and Josh Ross — artists who have achieved significant traction at country radio during the qualification period leading into CRS.
For more than 50 years, the New Faces show has marked a career milestone for many of country radio’s biggest acts and remains a must-attend gathering for programmers, label executives and industry leaders.
Online registration for CRS 2026 has closed, with on-site registration available through the start of the event. A limited number of New Faces tickets remain and are sold separately. Registration information can be viewed HERE.
