Delilah, America’s most listened-to woman on radio, is lending her signature soothing voice to the debut of Calm Sleep, a new standalone app from Calm designed to provide deeper, more personalized sleep support. The longtime syndicated host records an exclusive Sleep Story for the app, marking Calm’s first direct-to-consumer product outside its flagship Calm app.
“Every night, I’ve been privileged to keep people company through the radio,” Delilah tells JubileeCast. “I’m honored to now be part of Calm Sleep, where I can help even more people relax and find peace at the end of their day.”
For nearly a decade, Calm has built a following with Sleep Stories — modern bedtime stories for adults and kids that have been played more than one billion times. Calm Sleep expands on that success with a full “sleep ecosystem,” offering personalized daily plans, expert-backed tools, and a library of more than 500 stories and 300 hours of content.
“Calm is a global leader in sleep, with more than half our users already turning to us for rest,” Jon Tien, Chief Product Officer, said in a release. “Now with Calm Sleep, we’re introducing a product built entirely around the sleep experience, from daytime habits to nighttime routines.”
At launch, Calm Sleep features Delilah’s narration along with new stories from actor Andrew Scott. New content will remain exclusive to Calm Sleep for four weeks before appearing in the main Calm app.
The rollout also includes partnerships that extend Calm into physical spaces and products. Hilton and Calm will introduce “The World’s Sleepiest Room” at Tempo by Hilton New York Times Square beginning Oct. 1, while Target will carry Calm’s first bedding collection starting in December. Calm has also teamed with Ozlo on biometric-enabled Sleepbuds® that integrate with Calm Sleep content.
