CrimeCon Opens CLUE Awards Submissions For Year’s Best In True Crime Podcasting.

CrimeCon has opened submissions for the 2026 CLUE Awards, the awards program that celebrates excellence and integrity in true crime content across podcasting, TV, film, literature, and publishing. The winners will be announced on Saturday, May 30 in Las Vegas, during CrimeCon’s annual flagship event, which attracts thousands of attendees from around the world. The event is produced by Red Seat Ventures, which has in the past year expanded deeper into podcasting.
The categories open for submission this year include:
Podcasting: “Outstanding Episodic Series”
Podcasting: “Outstanding Docuseries”
Television: “Outstanding Scripted Series or Film”
Television: “Outstanding Episodic Series”
Television: “Outstanding Docuseries”
“Outstanding Documentary Film”
“True Crime Book of the Year”
Eligible projects must have premiered between May 31, 2025, and March 31, 2026. Projects must be available in the U.S. CLUE Awards nominees and winners are selected by a third-party committee of lauded industry professionals, representative of all sectors of the true crime content genre, including producers, network and streaming executives, and other creatives. The committee last year was made up of high-level executives and creatives from Inside Crime, Campfire Studios, National Center for Victims of Crime, Law&Crime Network, and CourtTV, among others.
Submissions for the 2026 CLUE Awards will be accepted at a discounted rate through the early deadline on Feb. 15. The regular submission deadline is March 21, and late submissions will be accepted until April 1. Find details HERE.
