Charlie Sheen Brings Hollywood Candor To Podcasting With New Red Seat Show.

Charlie Sheen has spent decades as one of Hollywood's most recognizable — and often most candid — celebrities, earning a reputation as an open book about both his extraordinary success and very public personal struggles. Now he's bringing that same unfiltered approach to podcasting.

Red Seat Ventures, the Fox Corp.-owned creator media company, has announced an exclusive partnership with Sheen to launch “Mostly Sheenius,” a weekly interview podcast featuring conversations with celebrities from entertainment, sports, music and popular culture.

After years of answering questions from interviewers, Sheen will reverse roles as host, using his own experiences in the spotlight to guide discussions that aim to go beyond celebrity headlines.

According to Red Seat Ventures, the podcast will feature conversations focused on the defining moments, setbacks and successes that shaped each guest's life and career, while Sheen shares stories and perspectives from his own unconventional journey through Hollywood.

Sheen says that after occupying the guest chair for the entirety of his career, he is confident the endless research he has banked will help as he becomes the host.

“To set the table, I'll be sitting down with some of the most notable figures in entertainment, sports, and culture — a collection of badass icons who have definitively shaped our world,” Sheen says in the show’s preview. “It's also a chance to dive deep into the narratives that resonate with all of us as I reconnect with friends from Hollywood, especially the ones who are still alive.”

Red Seat Ventures CEO Chris Balfe says Sheen's appeal as a host lies in the authenticity that has long defined his public persona.

“Charlie is one of the rare personalities whose life and career have captivated audiences for decades,” Balfe said. “What makes this show so compelling isn't just the guests, it's Charlie's ability to connect with people through humor, honesty and shared experience. We're excited to help bring his voice to podcast audiences around the world.”

The launch continues Red Seat Ventures’ push to build personality-driven programming around well-known talent. The company represents more than 40 creators spanning news, sports, comedy, entertainment and true crime, reaching what it says are tens of millions of monthly consumers across audio and video.

“Mostly Sheenius” will be distributed on all major podcast platforms, with full video episodes and exclusive content also available through digital channels.

Sheen and Todd Christopher will executive produce the series through STRAC Media, with Eric Pearce serving as executive producer for Red Seat Ventures.

Sheen’s television and film career spans more than four decades. He starred in films including “Platoon,” “Wall Street,” “Major League,” “Hot Shots!” and “The Three Musketeers,” before becoming one of television's biggest stars with “Spin City” and “Two and a Half Men.” Most recently, he reunited with producer Chuck Lorre for a recurring role on the Max comedy “Bookie” and is attached to the upcoming series “Ramble On.” In recent years, Sheen has been equally known for his openness about his personal struggles, addiction, recovery and HIV diagnosis, making him one of Hollywood's most candid and recognizable public figures.
