Pro wrestling continues to grow in popularity and that has the Nashville Podcast Network — the network created by radio and TV personality Bobby Bones — bulking up its roster. It has signed the “Battleground Podcast” for its roster. The series was created and hosted by “105.9 The Rock” WNRQ Nashville morning radio personality Timothy Battle.
“‘Battleground’ is hosted by fans, for fans,” Battle says in the announcement. “We care about the real stuff, what’s happening behind the scenes, what’s unfolding in the ring, and the stories that make it all matter.”
Battle, who also serves as the in-arena DJ for the NHL’s Nashville Predators, brings big personality and unfiltered passion to every episode. The weekly show delivers coverage of the biggest stories in professional wrestling, featuring headlines, interviews with top talent from WWE, AEW, UFC, and TNA, and passionate commentary from a lifelong fan of the sport.
“Battle has built a show wrestling fans truly connect with,” said Bones. “We’re excited to add ‘Battleground’ to the Nashville Podcast Network.”
New episodes of “Battleground” are available every Monday.
The Nashville Podcast Network is home to series including “Bobby Bones Presents: The BobbyCast,” “25 Whistles,” “Feeling Things with Amy & Kat,” “In The Vet’s Office with Dr. Josie Horchak,” “Sore Losers,” “Get Real with Caroline Hobby,” “The TouchUp with Tarryn Feldman & Mari Brown,” “Take This Personally with Morgan Huelsman,” “The Upload with Brooke Taylor” and “Movie Mike’s Movie Podcast.” All shows are distributed by iHeartPodcasts.
