BFOA To Spotlight Industry Leaders At 2026 NAB Show Breakfast.

The Broadcasters Foundation of America will spotlight a cross-section of broadcast leadership and influence when it presents its 2026 Leadership Awards, Lowry Mays Excellence in Broadcasting Award and Chairman’s Award during its Annual Breakfast at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
The annual breakfast is set for Wednesday, April 22 at 7am in the Beethoven Room at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.
Six executives will receive 2026 Leadership Awards, which recognize career contributions to the broadcast industry and to their communities:
Heather Cohen, President, The Weiss Agency
April Carty-Sipp, Executive VP, Industry Affairs, National Association of Broadcasters
Michael J. Hayes, President, Hearst Television
Mike Hulvey, President & CEO, Radio Advertising Bureau
Chad Matthews, President, ABC-Owned Television Stations at The Walt Disney Company
Alissa Pollack, Executive VP, Global Music Marketing, iHeartMedia
In addition, John Catsimatidis, Owner and CEO of Red Apple Media and WABC New York, will receive the 2026 Lowry Mays Excellence in Broadcasting Award. The honor is presented annually to a broadcaster whose work reflects innovation, community service, advocacy and entrepreneurship.
The 2026 Chairman’s Award will go to Deborah Norville, the Emmy-winning broadcast journalist recognized for her contributions to the industry.
The Broadcasters Foundation’s Annual Breakfast is a staple of NAB Show week, drawing radio and television executives from across the country to recognize leadership while supporting the Foundation’s charitable mission on behalf of broadcasters in need.
