Streaming Ad Buying Service AudioGo Expands Its Reach Into Canadian Market.

AudioGo, the self-serve digital audio ad buying service from AdsWizz, is expanding its service into the Canadian market. It is partnering with content distributors including TuneIn, Audiomack, Stingray Music, idobi and Corus – which has webcasts of its 39 radio stations -- to introduce the ad buying platform to marketers looking to reach listeners north of the border.

AudioGo says the timing is right since there are 38 million people in Canada, with nearly three-quarters or 28 million of those aged 18 and up stream music, radio, and podcasts every month. Four years ago, that figure was 57%.

Launched in May 2019, AudioGo became part of SiriusXM when Pandora acquired AdsWizz in May 2018 and then SiriusXM bought Pandora in February 2019. AudioGo says it has had the mission of allowing small ad businesses and agencies the opportunity to directly purchase audio ad inventory on podcasts and digital audio programming from a growing list of publishers. It works with other streamers including iHeartRadio, Pandora, PodcastOne, and Entravision.
