Just In Time For The NBA Draft, A Cleveland Radio Station Debuts Basketball Podcast.

The Land On Demand app is the subscription-based mobile app from Good Karma Brands’ sports-formatted “850 ESPN Cleveland” WKNR. Fans of the Cleveland radio station will have one more podcast to select from on the app with the debut of The Rebound. Hosted by Emmett Golden, who currently co-hosts afternoon drive on WKNR as well as the weekly “Primetime” show each Saturday on the ESPN Radio Network.

“I grew up here loving the Cavs. Mark Price is my all-time favorite player. It’s great to have an outlet to talk Cavs and to take fans inside the team with the people who cover them daily,” said Golden in the announcement.

Good Karma says The Rebound will focus heavily on the Cleveland Cavaliers and feature interviews with Cavs insiders who know the team inside and out.

Unlike a lot of local radio station apps, the three-year old The Land On Demand app and website do not offer a livestream of the station. Listeners can find that on WKNR’s website or the ESPN app. Instead, it only features podcasts and other on-demand content. The site is subscription only, charging $8.50 per month or $85 per year. The commercials are stripped out of the radio shows, although Good Karma notes that subscribers will still hear live-read ads that are integrated into the content and cannot be stripped out.
