Greg Ashlock To Lead iHeart Influencer Network, Bressler Becomes Station Group Interim CEO.

There is a change at the top of iHeartMedia’s Multi-Platform Group, the division that includes the company’s radio stations, live events business, and its national sales organization. Greg Ashlock, who has been Chief Executive of the division since it was formed in 2021, is segueing to a new role. Ashlock has need named President of the iHeart Influencer Network. It is a new cross-platform initiative led by Ashlock that looks to leverage iHeart’s popular radio and podcast personalities, as well as other assets under the iHeart umbrella, to take advantage of growing marketer budgets that are focused on influencers.

In a memo announcing the transition, iHeartMedia CEO Bob Pittman and President/COO/CFO Rich Bressler say Ashlock has a “strong passion” for the growing segment of business that is focused on influencers and approached them to lead the iHeart efforts. “As much as we hate to lose Greg as the CEO of the Multi-Platform Group, we are certain he is the best choice to lead this important new growth area for our company,” they said.

Ashlock will transition into the role of President of the iHeart Influencer Network immediately, reporting directly to Pittman and Bressler. In the near-term, Bressler will become interim CEO of the Multi-Platform Group in addition to his other responsibilities as iHeart’s President, COO and CFO.

Ashlock joined iHeartMedia in 2015 as President of the Radio Markets Group. Prior to that, he worked for two years at Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI). Ashlock earlier worked at iHeart as Executive VP of Operations, and he also oversaw the company’s Los Angeles cluster.
