Chuck Wicks has partnered with Bobby Bones’ Nashville Podcast Network for “Talk to Chuck.” The podcast, which Bones will executive produce, will feature Wicks sharing his perspective on country music as well as interviewing celebrity guests, artists and athletes. “Talk to Chuck” debuted Thursday with new episodes publishing on Mondays and Thursdays.
“Whether it’s radio, TV, touring or writing a book, Bobby gets it and goes for it,” Wicks said in a release. “After many conversations with him and expressing that I have those exact same passions, we ended up becoming friends and wanted to find a way to work together. I’ll never forget him telling me, ‘Chuck, you’re not a #2 or #3 guy…you’re the guy and you deserve your own show.’ Well, here we are with ‘Talk to Chuck.’”
Previously, Wicks served as co-host of the nationally syndicated radio show “Ty, Kelly and Chuck,” which earned two Academy of Country Music Award nominations for National On-Air Personality of the Year. Earlier this month, the country singer and radio host released new single “Solid Gold” after signing with Verge Records.
“Chuck has been a good friend of mine for a couple years and someone I admire in a lot of ways, especially for his determination and storytelling,” Bones says. "He has such an interesting perspective that I know our listeners and beyond will be drawn to.”
