Charlamagne Tha God, co-host of the Premiere Networks-syndicated “The Breakfast Club,” will host a Town Hall with Vice President Kamala Harris next Tuesday in Detroit. The special “We The People: A Conversation with Kamala Harris and Charlamagne Tha God,” is scheduled for 5pm (ET) on Oct. 15.
“I’m going to have a conversation with the Vice President live on iHeartRadio,” Charlamagne said when announcing the event on Friday’s “Breakfast Club” morning show. “I want local voices from Detroit, and voices from all of the battleground states to get the opportunity to ask Vice President Kamala Harris some questions.”
Questions are being accepted through the “Talk Back” feature on the iHeartRadio app, Charlamagne explained, adding that the special would be carried on all “The Breakfast Club” affiliates nationwide.
Both Harris and Republican President Nominee Donald Trump have increasingly turned to non-traditional media appearances while on the campaign trail. Harris recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show and Trump has been sitting down with conservative podcasters for the past several months to get his message out.
During her 2016 Presidential Campaign, Hillary Clinton appeared on “The Breakfast Club,” while Biden made a 2020 visit before the election. In 2019, Harris appeared on the program as she sought the Democratic Presidential Nominee.
